With a little feel of the early 1960's, this draped boatneck tank is simple and striking. We will learn about hemming, and a neat chain-garter selvedge on the armholes. This will look great with jeans, or under a jacket or sweater.

Beginning Hairpin Lace

This unique crochet techniques is currently undergoing a resurgence in popularity. It's a form of crochet that allows to to create unique crochet lace designs for garments ranging from scarves to exotic looking skirts and dresses.
Hairpin Loom

During this tutorial you will learn the basics of hairpin lace including using a crochet hook and a simple hairpin loom to make lace bands. We will also practice joining these bands. In the second class session you will start making a gorgeous cowl or small scarf as your first project.

Learn to create your own gorgeous unique jewelry. During this workshop you will start to make a bracelet or choker with wire and glass beads. You’ll learn methods for handling wire effectively with crochet needles as well as tips for creating decorative flourishes using wire and beads.

With pattern sizing for a toddler through an adult, you can easily knit matching socks for the whole family!

Using Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Elizabeth Percentage System (EPS), design a vest knit entirely in the round up to the shoulders and then cut holes for the arms and head to slip through. Cut your knitting? It sounds scary but it works.

This is a unique pattern based on a pair of gloves I crocheted on a plane ride before a special event we were attending out of town. The design is 'Steampunk' inspired and uses rich toned or kettle dyed yarn. The pattern itself was created exclusively for the Naked Sheep Knit Shop and is included in the cost of the class.

Classes must be paid for at the time of registration.
You can withdraw from a class at least 7 days before the class begins;
you’ll receive store credit toward another class.
Unless otherwise noted, materials are not included in class fee.

The Really Fine Print:
Knitting contains 0 carbs, calories or fat. Check with your doctor before you begin a serious exercise program. Knitting has few dangerous side effects; but has been the cause of isolated mini-riots in certain California-based adult assisted living communities. Knitting can be habit forming and has been found to be addictive for certain individuals. If you have knitting sessions that last over 4 hours, consult your doctor; or local fiber specialist immediately.

Knitting is not based on chance. Classes greatly increase skill. Knitting is for entertainment only and should not be utilized for investment purposes.

Unattended children will be given 25lbs. of candy corn, a squirt gun and an all day TriMet pass.
