Amigurumi is the Japanese craft of creating cute little crochet creatures. Learn how to design and make your own amigurumi toys! You’ll learn how to interpret and use Japanese amigurumi patterns, and apply basic crochet techniques to shaping crochet objects to design unique toys. Needle Felting

Needle Felting Fun
Come learn needle felting; a fun and easy way to use unspun fiber and special needles to sculpt, embellish and create. No previous crafting experience needed! You can add special touches to your knit and felted items, or make 3-dimensional objects to use as jewelry, ornaments or gifts. Class fee includes a needle felting starter kit with needles and foam block. Materials fee of $5 payable to instructor for a bag of brightly colored wool roving. (More available for purchase in class, if you wish.)

Classes must be paid for at the time of registration.
You can withdraw from a class at least 7 days before the class begins;
you’ll receive store credit toward another class.
Unless otherwise noted, materials are not included in class fee.

The Really Fine Print:
Knitting contains 0 carbs, calories or fat. Check with your doctor before you begin a serious exercise program. Knitting has few dangerous side effects; but has been the cause of isolated mini-riots in certain California-based adult assisted living communities. Knitting can be habit forming and has been found to be addictive for certain individuals. If you have knitting sessions that last over 4 hours, consult your doctor; or local fiber specialist immediately.

Knitting is not based on chance. Classes greatly increase skill. Knitting is for entertainment only and should not be utilized for investment purposes.

Unattended children will be given an espresso, felting needle and a dozen balloons.
